Coccidiostats

«PF-DSN»Feed premix for livestock and poultry

Use:The product contains the active substance diclazuril, a chemically synthesized triazine-group coccidiostat that disrupts energy metabolism in the endogenous developmental cycle of Eimeria. The anticoccidial activity of diclazuril is higher than that of any other modern coccidiostat. It is effective against Eimeria species in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, and poultry, including: E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. necatrix, E. tenella, E. adenoeides, E. gallopavonis, E. meleagrimitis, E. flavescens, E. intestinalis, E. magna, E. perforans, E. stiedai, etc.It prevents necrotic and other forms of enteritis caused by Salmonella typhi, E. coli, and Clostridium perfringens.
The product also contains salinomycin, an ionophore coccidiostat. It is active against Eimeria spp.: E. acervulina, E. tenella, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. mivati, E. meleagridis, E. meleagrimitis, E. bovis. The mechanism of action is based on disruption of monovalent ion (Na⁺ and K⁺) transport across the parasite cell membrane, leading to parasite death. It is also active against Gram-positive microorganisms and anaerobes Serpulina (Treponema) hyodysenteriae.
PF-DSN is compatible with other veterinary medicines and can be used under conditions of high temperature and humidity, including heat stress. The product has no mutagenic, carcinogenic, or teratogenic effects. It does not accumulate in organs and tissues and does not cause adverse effects even when recommended doses are exceeded by 25–50 times.
