«GUPhaZol -5,0%»(feed premix)

Composition:“GUPhaZol-5%” powder (the “Product”) is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic containing fenbendazole (methyl-5-phenylthio-benzimidazole-2-carbamate) as the active substance, as well as a carrier.It is a homogeneous free-flowing powder ranging in color from light yellow to light gray.
Pharmacological properties:Causes the death of adult forms, larvae, and eggs of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, tapeworms, and cestodes parasitizing animals, which helps increase weight gain, improve milk yield, enhance wool quality, etc.The product belongs to the group of low-hazard substances; LD₅₀ for oral administration in white mice exceeds 10,000 mg/kg.It has no cumulative, hepatotoxic, embryotoxic, teratogenic, or allergenic effects. It is excreted mainly via urine and feces.The mechanism of action is based on the destruction of microtubules in intestinal cells of helminths and disruption of energy metabolism, leading to parasite death.In the body of animals and poultry, the Product exhibits only an anthelmintic effect and does not affect vital organs, organ systems, or physiological functions.
Indications:For preventive and therapeutic purposes, the following single oral doses of the Product mixed with feed are recommended:● Cattle — 0.1–0.2 g/kg body weight;● Horses — 0.1–0.2 g/kg body weight;● Sheep, goats — 0.1–0.2 g/kg body weight;● Pigs — 0.1–0.2 g/kg body weight;● Poultry*, including waterfowl — 0.2–0.3 g/kg body weight;● Fur-bearing animals, incl. rabbits — 1.0–2.0 g/kg body weight;● Puppies, kittens** — 1.0–2.0 g/kg body weight;● Dogs, cats — 2.0–4.0 g/kg body weight.
* Minimum duration of Product administration — 4 days.** Minimum duration of Product administration — 3 days.
In pig production, an effective “mild” technological application scheme of GUPhaZol-5% in dry compound feeds is used for 5 to 15 days.The total amount of the Product during this period corresponds to the recommended single doses indicated above, evenly distributed over all days of application.

Recommended deworming schedules:● Sows — 2 weeks before farrowing and 4–6 weeks after insemination;● Piglets — at 12–14 kg body weight;● Fattening pigs — at 32–35 kg body weight;● Breeding boars — 2–3 times per year.

Contraindications and side effects:
No contraindications identified.

“GUPhaZol-5%” is well tolerated by animals and poultry even in cases of repeated overdose. It can be safely used in sick, weakened, pregnant, and heavily infested animals. Long-term use does not cause undesirable side effects.

Special instructions:
Slaughter of animals for meat is permitted 7 days after deworming. In case of forced slaughter earlier than the specified period, the meat may be used for feeding fur-bearing animals or for the production of meat-and-bone meal.
Milk from dairy animals and eggs from poultry must not be used for human consumption for 3 days after deworming; they may be used for animal feeding after heat treatment.
All work with the product should be carried out using protective clothing (gown, head covering, rubber gloves, respirator). Eating, drinking, and smoking during work are prohibited.
If the product comes into contact with skin or mucous membranes, remove it with a swab and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. After work, wash hands with warm water and soap; wash and dry gloves. Empty containers must not be reused for food purposes.

Storage conditions:
Store in original packaging, out of reach of children and animals, at a temperature of 0 to 30 °C.
